All other versions of Visual C++/Studio should include the Platform SDK and MFC/ATL support. If you download the Platform SDK, you should be able to build applications using the Win32 API but not MFC. It was released in April 2011 for Windows, OS X, Linux, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. I am currently focusing on polishing the VMF exporting, and then properly implementing each vanilla PeTI feature. If you have Visual C++ 2005 Express, you will be unable to build MFC applications. Portal 2 is a first-person puzzle-platform video game developed by Valve Corporation. PuzEdit will have frequent development updates posted in the Discord server, with many previews already posted. There are two ways to go get the Windows Device Portal up and running. There is still a lot of work to do, but I hope to release a functional version of PuzEdit soon™.
PuzEdit already has a strong working prototype, giving the user the ability to place "entities" (items), manipulate map geometry, and even export a functional map to hammer. Due to Godot 4 releasing and gaining full support, PuzEdit development will be much quicker! PuzEdit was based on a Godot 4 beta, as it required a feature that Godot 3 did not have. I have found it easier to use and have made far more progress with the Godot version than the Unity version of PuzEdit. PuzEdit is now based in the Godot engine. Thankfully, that has since changed! Changes That's a long time! Unfortunately, I have had little motivation or time to work on it. PuzEdit has gotten 0 updates or blog posts in over 2 years.
